James Small Aperture® Ultra-High Output Full-Range SHALLOW DEPTH speaker now features the NEW James Quadratech tweeter design. The James Small Aperture® ceiling/in-wall speaker features a 8.5” round or 7”x 7” square sound aperture while packing a full 3-way system experience for deep bass and wide frequency response. A seamless edge detail keeps 853 looking smart and modern yet discreet. The SA853QT-6 includes a mini 10” PowerPipe subwoofer, 5.25” midrange, and Quadratech tweeter for exceptional performance, dispersion, and experience. Having a real subwoofer allows the system to play  rich, deep bass and high SPL.

The all aircraft-grade aluminum construction and modular design provide long life, easy service, and high reliability. The SA853QT-6 is bi-amped and has a small footprint with a 6” depth, best suited for 2x6 Stud Bay installations.

Order woofer enclosure, mid-range Quadratech module, and grille kits separately. Custom and wood trim kits available and quoted individually.

This model of Small Aperture ships with a 16" stud bay bracket as standard. The 16" stud bay bracket can collapse down to 10” and expand to 16”. An optional 24" stud bay bracket can be ordered (range of 14"- 24"). If the 24" bracket is required, please specify at the time of order.

This speaker can be ordered in 70V which will include a 50W transformer on the mid/high and a 100W transformer for the subwoofer section. Bi-ampling still required.
